I’m Mattè.

As far back as I can remember, I’ve always believed in creativity or death.

Since I’m alive and well while writing this bio, I guess I’ve kept up with the whole creativity thing. So step into my time-machine blimp and see what I was up to before you knew I existed!

       ↑ Expected a hand-drawn blimp? Nah, as a copywriter, the keyboard is where I make my art.

Before advertising, I was (sometimes) getting paid to write scripts, sing on stage, make (occasionally horrific) films, and act in shorts, pilots, and plays… anything that let me create.

Another passion of mine? Doing everything in my power to keep NY’s multicultural identity alive. Being raised as a proud Italian-American dual citizen with Brooklyn roots showed me that knowing where you come from (your history, your language, your culture) helps you understand everyone else. And it makes you a hell of a lot more interesting, too.

That mindset hasn’t changed and I'm not interested in blending in. I want to make work that's funny, loud, and alive. the kind that reminds people why creativity is worth choosing every time.
